Heal While you Grieve

Sometimes grief can leave you feeling numb, lost, and in unbelief. Though it's in that moment when you reach for faith and spiritual practices to ground you. A song, a hymn, a prayer, a cross, meditation, or an homage ceremony are sometimes just the thing you need to fill the silence of the one that is lost.

 

Today I pray that through taking deep breaths, remembering the joyful times, and jotting down some thoughts and feelings it will make it easier to get through your day while you heal while grieving.


Grieving can be a hard process, but it does not have to be. Sometimes we just need to take off the many masks that we wear that we believe are to convince others that we are okay, when really we are trying to convince ourselves of that very same thing. Are you ready to embrace the grieving process as a way to heal yourself? Grieving is simply acknowledging what has happened, accepting it, and allowing your mind, emotions, body, soul, and spirit to do what it needs to do heal itself. In grief their is silence, anger, hurt, pain, and sometimes celebrations of the one's who's souls have journeyed on from the pain and agony of this life on this side of eternity. Just Breathe! Stress is something else!

Stress comes in many forms and affects the body, mind, soul, and spirit in many ways!  By the time it reaches our body in the physical state our soul, spirit, and mind are nearly out of ways to cope with the effects of the stress.  Stress can be a good thing and a bad thing.  Stress is simply an external stimulus, eustress is the feeling you get when overcome with the excitement and anticipation of a desired outcome.  

When Stress becomes to much to handle and causes pressure and not excitement or anticipation for good reasons you must find a way to de-stress.  You can de-stress by simply remembering to breathe!  When life knocks us down or takes us by suprize it is easy to just simply remember to breathe.  Inhaling through your nose slowly, but deeply, then exhaling with forces through your mouth uses so many muscles you would not even believe.  You can loosen your body up just by remembering to give yourself time to breathe.  

Next, using Aroma Therapy Oils Such as Simply Aroma Oils http://www.simplyaroma.com/index.aspx .  These oils really help you relax, stay centered, and push through.  

Prayer while feeling stressed or overwhelming can be very instrumental and therapeutic.  Confessing all of your problems to God and leaving them at the Master's feet is a good way to be at peace about where you are in your life.  Prayer rather it's outloud, quiet, prayer through observing nature, or reading and singing hymns of praise to God can help your shoulders release tension and clear the clutter in your mind. I can remember during one of the most confusing times in my life a spiritual retreat lead by two Catholic Nuns really changed my life when they introduced me to observing God in nature and become one with nature. 

Last but not least, de-stressing your life can be as easy as decluttering your life of people, places, and things that are unhealthy or toxic to who you authentically want to be.  Evaluate things such as what is your diet like?  How much sleep are you really getting?  Are you around people or places that makes you feel on edge or easily annoyed?  Evaluate these situations and make the necessary adjustments.  

Remember, Create a stress free zone in your home!  There must be a place of calm, relaxation, and retreat in your home and place of safety.  If your house is full of people like mine, simply remember to take 5 to 10 minute breaks throughout the day to take a walk, run, or just sit on the grass and remove your shoes and let your feet touch the earth.  

You can do this!  You are too blessed to be stressed unless it's eustress!

You Can Create!  When you were fashioned, formed, and sent here from our great creator there was a specific purpose for your creation!

It's time for you to begin to create what you have been here to create.  People may not agree with it or even see the details of your painting for your life, but it's not for them it's for those whom God created you for.  We ALL are called, but FEW are CHOSEN!  I believe that you are one of the chosen ones and it's time for to explore your options!  Make that move! Live LIFE on PURPOSE! 

What are you waiting on?  What are you Afraid of?  What is it that you need to make this happen? 

You can have visions and dreams, but what good are they if you don't use them to create something?

It's time to START OVER! Yes, give yourself permission to just start all over!

It's a new day, a new season, an new beginning!

Take in some deep breaths! Make a decision to change what you can change and start today!  

Make a plan, set some achieveable goals, and begin to work the plan!  

You can do it! Today is the day! It's time to Start All Over Again!

Forgive, Love, Stay in the Fight!


If you want to save your marriage, I mean really want to save your marriage, then you can.  It is important in marriage that we show people HOW we NEED to be LOVED.   In a marriage there are two individuals who are trying to become one mind, body, and spirit.  That is very hard.  It requires changing your indiviudal thoughts, plans, needs, and wants to the wants of you both. Saving your marriage regardless of why it is in a state of EMERGENCY requires both individuals to want to try to make it work.  It requires both to be willing to change and to put in every effort.  It requires a lot of listening and less talking, and for others it requires you to finally say the things that you have been quiet about regardless of what it will cost you, because truth is the only way that walls can come down.  


Do you want to save your marriage? 


1. Focus on the Positive  It is important to identify the reasons you want to stay


2. What is really going on?  Identify the facts, the issues, and what the main problem is 


3.  Be willing to seek professional guidance and help to hold you both accountable to the process.

I believe that ANYTHING is POSSIBLE if YOU only BELIEVE!  If you want to make changes in your life, YOU CAN!  You just have to learn the skills, apply the skills, and make the change!  


Here are 7 easy steps to help you make changes in your life.


1. Admit and give voice to what you are about to change! Make a Declaration: I am changing...

2. Make sure that you are making this change for you. Set small goals to accomplish the change.

3. Be ready to replace the thing you are changing with something positive and rewarding

4. Change your thoughts about the change to positive thoughts.

5. Consider how your life can be with the change

6. Get some 'accountability' partners...people who can avoid being judgemental, but helpful.

7. Don't give up, use set backs as a way to review how you messed up and start over again!
